Hi =)

I'm looking for a war/fighting manga with lots of politics involved. Complex factions and sides, alliances, betrayals, etc. Fantasy would be a plus.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Who Fighter with Heart of Darkness is a brilliant collection of three shorts, I highly recommend it if you don't mind a slow paced stories.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes - except I think this one started as a novel, then an anime and the manga followed.
The Twelve Kingdoms
Arslan Senki
Tytania - I think the manga is based on the novel and anime adaptation that is currently airing in Japan

I second Berserk.

Definitely second Houshin Engi.

Probably any Gundam manga and anime series will satisfy your needs.

And there are literally tonnes of manga adaptations of "The 3 Kingdoms" lying around.
