my knowledge limits since i don't live their.
My question to you is what lang can u speak?
Hong Knog been there plenty of time, Singapore only been once (airport to tranfer).
So i going talk what i know about H.K. with my limited knowledge of that city.
Locally ppl speck: cantonese (98%)
Official Language (on paper) : (Chinese (Cantonese), English
Current: $1 USD -> ~$7 HKD
Hong Kong don't have zoo but like of parks, the for famous one is the Ocean Park. Don't forget there a Hong Kong Disneyland there. The city itself is made up of many island and its one of the most expensive city to live in. This is Tourist City so shoppping is what u can do, eatting is also in order. Place to shop and places to eat i don't know.

I was in Hong Kong just last year and I can't say that it was a great cultural experience. In my opinion the city has become way too westernized.

Go for Singapore, Bintu. It's a more interesting place, though admittedly it'd probably be a bit more expensive.

Hong Kong isn't really all that much like mainland China, I don't think you'll end up with quite the types of experiences that you usually seem to be looking for. The aftereffects of British rule are still pretty strong over there- I'd recommend Taiwan over it. Singapore is very modern, to be sure, but that's basically it's appeal. Plus, if you wanted to prolong the vacation you could pop over to Malaysia and live like a king on not all that much cash, comparatively speaking.

I'll say go for Singapore. Even though its modern but you still can see cultural difference there.And as someone said before you can go to Malaysia anytime you want.

From what I see on the TVB drama,Hong Kong only has building and has nothing exciting or different except for its cramped market.

Btw, where are you from??People can give better opinion based on your location.

I wish I can go to Japan or Korea.....sigh 😮

If you are at hongkong, try checking out Guangzhou too 😀 It's literally next door. Lots more cheap stuff and some places LOOK LIKE 18TH CENTURY CHINA 8D
