lately I been thinking that after FFX, the persona series may be better than the FF series.

The combat i like persona series a lot especially the leveling up system, where you learn skills or use skills based on your persona you have.

Storywise I give it to persona, to me persoa 3 is the one that was really good.FF1 and 13 wasn't that good story wise.

Graphics ok, here obviously FF wins, but then again even 12 was better graphically then persona 4

lasting value i would give to persona because of the soul links and stuff, you really got to play two to three time to max it. And maxing it is not just for complete but it'll do a lot to gameplay.

overall i would give persona the slight edge over FF after X

anyone else looking towards persona 5?

I love Persona 4 more than 3, but that's cause I played 4 first. I'm also hoping for a 5 as well, with the added bonus that the MC will be a female this time instead of a male. This is just wishful thinking of course.

What's the Persona series about? I've heard about the different ones and seen pics and stuff, but I don't really know what they are. 😛

I LOVE THE PERSONA SERIES SO MUCH!
I loved three so much I bought a psp just to play Persona3Portable and thats all I've really used the psp for. Loved it a million times more on the psp as a girl. <3
Persona 4 was pretty awesome too, can't wait for Persona 5!

As for comparing it to FF... I don't think you can really do that. They are drastically different. Like comparing rap to country. I like both, but I've definitely spent more time playing Persona. 😀

Personally I felt Persona 4 was better than 3, but thats just mostly because 4 was faster.
If you are looking for deep storylines then you should try the original Shin Megami Tensei games (the persona series feels like its made for a younger audience).
As for the FF series, I felt it went downhill after 7 or 8 depending on whether you liked 8 or not.

the first 2 megami tensei for the nes and the first 2 shin megami tensei for SNES are great and distubingly dark games

the persona games are just Animeish cute-cute stuff

i kind of like Persona 4
even if its SIM-life with cute monsters thrown in
atleast a little better than the later FF games

i might try persona 5
i will most likely never try a new FF game so
i guess persona wins for me too
