Hello! Astro Scans is a small but growing scanlation group. We focus on BL Chinese manhua. As part of our group, not only do you have lots of leeway to work on your designated part, we will also consider translating the manhua of your choice! Our principle is that we always contact the author to let them know that we are translating his or her work unless we are specifically told no.

So what are the requirements of being a Chinese to English translator?

Well ... obviously you need to be advanced, if not fluent in English. Secondly, your Chinese should be at a level where you can skim a news article and basically understand what it's talking about. Personally speaking, it only takes me 1 hour or less to translate an entire chapter so I don't think it's that bad. If the dictionary or google translate is of no help, that's what I'm here for. Just ask me and I'll gladly help.
