I, for one, would very much like to know how one would go about obtaining a "psychic" collection of manga.

My collection has shrunk drastically over the last several years. At this point I have several volumes of Asano Inio titles, Hatsukanezumi no Jikan in its entirety, and some volumes of Mushishi and Aria here and there, all in Japanese, of course.

My light novel collection is still growing, though. Kino no Tabi alone hasn't really been enough for me lately.

my manga collection about 400 books 😀

I have like 20 Volumes of Shonen Jump. Collection of Jing, King of bandits and one volume of Cross Game.

I've been collecting manga since 2010 so it makes that 2 years of collecting.
I own about 400 mangas (including manhwas). I used to have a hundred more but I donated it, or most likely, my parents donated it. But a lot of gratitudes to my parents, without them, I wouldn't own so many mangas and manhwas. 😃
Though sometimes they would be angry at me for buying so many mangas. 😐 It's a waste of their money and it also takes much space. But as long as I get awesome grades at school, they would have mercy on me.

ONLY manga I own (& collect) is "Skip Beat"...no more & no less. 🤣

I can't remember but I have around 50 or more books? I would have more but I donated a few to some manga books shops.

I might donate more though because some series are from Tokyopop and obviously, they've been closed down (or whatever happened to them) and it bugs me not to be able to continue buying them to complete the series 🙁 but then again, I just want to keep it just in case I'm bored :/

I also have an art book by Arina Tanemura if that is considered a part of my manga collection?

Physically? Pretty large on my novels collections, but none yet on mangas lol. Mainly cause I prefer reading online one way or the other, and also since I don't buy, or at least plan to buy, English mangas. If I wanted to buy Chinese or Japanese raws, I'll have to wait until I get the chance to go back, as shipping is wayyy too expensive otherwise. Well... since I keep forgetting about it, currently my shelf consists of novels only lol. Trying to convince my dad to help bring some over next time he comes.
