I'm sorry for the eventual spoils, I'm really desperate to find it, l'm searching it since forever TT . I read it more than 10 years ago, it was a japanese manga, maybe it name started with a "h" ? (Not so sure) 1/ the fl was a teen in ancient times (not modern japan) who had a power to make her writings (drawings ?) come alive. I think her distinctive feature was natural red nails. Because of this power, she was in danger and people wanted to have her for obviously wicked purposes. 2/ the ml was a young boy, quick witted, intelligent who decided to protect her as they were on adventure escaping people and trying to uncover the truth. 3/ we learn that fl is one of the reincarnation of a deity, a goddess who was known to be powerful and she had red nails, red lipstick and her eyes were covered with a veil. In the story it looked like she was a villain but when I stopped reading it wasn't so sure : the goddess had an antagonist, a man (who was a hero for the people in some countries) who was said to have killed her... but it seemed they were lovers. 4/ other incarnation are girls, fl met them too, and they all had one naturally "red" feature (lips for example).
