Hakudou Yayoi, I'm a sucker for Hime Cut and her badass level up,
Kasukabe Tarou and Sorano Hanako, for the sake of volume 6.
Also Amamiya Yuuhi and Asahina Samidare... but that's too much.
In the end, Yuuhi takes the cake for the longest character developments.

I'm split between Souichirou and Yayoi, but for some reason whenever the Horse Knight is on the page the manga gets about five times more awesome. I seriously hope he makes it through to the end somehow.
It was pretty cool when Yayoi
becomes a Mythical Beast Knight but she still hasn't had that many crowning moments.

Shea Moon and the Snake Knight?
IIRC I thought that Shea Moon was the Snake's name. Isn't her name Hakudou Yayoi?
Well looking at the List of names, you got The Humans name and the Knight that they are, but on the snake part you got the Snake's name.
Anyways, I'm up to chapter 62 and Amamiya Yuuhi is my favorite knight and second Yayoi.

Hm...that would be the apathetic Amamiya Yuuhi in the beginning of the story. As the manga progressed, I found him to be even more contradictory and thus my fondness for him decreased proportionally.
I like Shimachi because he's um.....Well, I dunno, I just like him.
That 500 year old Master was cool too. Guess I'm a sucker for the intellectual types, ha.
