BE WARNED : NO YAOI, YURI, SEINEN, SHOUNEN, SHOUNEN-AI, SHOUJO-AI, ECCHI, SMUT, HENTAI, OR TRAJEDY IS ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mangas like these have recently peaked my interest and I'm hoping you all might be able to find some mangas with plots along these lines :
Yume no Shizuku, Ougon no Torikaga (Although I would prefer something without ANY smut in it. It isn't to my taste.)
Crazy Girl Shin Bia Loved the Emperor's jealousy
Ouke no Monshou All-time favorite
Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang Love the relationship between two main characters
Any other mangas that involve conflicts, some action, definately Romance, and particularlya plot where a girl falls in love with someone she shouldn't while belonging to another. However, I want her to come to Love the person she belongs to! Thanks!
I'll take today over yesterday, anyday
I'll take lyin' in your arms tonight
Over and above any love, I've known
Memories may find me, but they'll always be behind me
I'll take today over yesterday, anyday

Can't you just say only non-tragic shoujo/josei? That's a long monotonous list to read in capitals -__- Plus entirely pointless when you say only shoujo/josei because most of them

And I want to add that the line in question seemed a bit aggressive for someone who's asking others for a favor. I mean "BE WARNED..."? o.O
Well to be more helpful, Emma fits what you're looking for. but BE WARNED! It's seinen xD Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I don't read much shoujo.

If someone posts things you don't like, filter them out yourself. After all, people here aren't obligated to help you out and they still do. it's the least you can do to do a little work too.
Click on the links on the suggestions (that was there for your ease btw) and check every manga's page. You can find out there if a series is Yaoi, yuri, seinen, shounen, shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, ecchi, smut, hentai, tragedy, every information currently available about the series. All in one click. If you see something about it you don't like, check out another. Rinse and repeat. Easy peasy.
People tend to be passionate about mangas they really like and you can't really blame them for wanting more people to read it and share their love for the manga. And It's just a suggestion anyway. No one's forcing you to read anything.

I click on each manga that is offered and automatically see if it has a genre that I don't like. If it doesn't then I go back to the list and click on the next one. If all they did was post mangas that included things I don't like, then they wasted their time. Hence my list. As far as pas ... So what's your goal in posting BE WARNED...? to save space in the forum? because if you're checking each already, I don't see a reason why you would post that. If all they posted are mangas that isn't to your liking then that's the limit to what everyone can recommend you isn't it? As for you helping people here and contributing, you know anyone can see all your previous posts in your profile right? I'll leave it at that. And yes, you're not forcing anybody here to post but you ARE asking for HELP, so please act like it.

Lol, there are people who don't read anyway.
Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori very similar to shin bia... to the point where I can never remember where they differ... I guess one is a manhwa and the other a manga...
Basara A lot of drama, a little gender bender, and a peculiar art.
Kanata Kara It's a different world but since there is not any technology it could be counted as another era?
Saver Not much drama, the MC is pretty cold so it's very difficult to like it. hehe
Fushigi Yuugi Way too long and there is a lot of smut. So it isn't that good.
IMO, Emma and seinen in general tend to be really good when they don't aim to be harem.

there are several titles that are non-tragic josei YURI so....
bigger question is the tragedy category. I mean, for a lot of series we do not know whether it's tragedy or not until it ends. For all i know Yume no Shizuku, Ougon no Torikago could end up being a tragedy.

I have not read anything you said you liked in your OP. With that said I'm just going off the title of "Romance, Drama, and set in another era" along with the no (Insert many tags here).
Hadashi de Bara o Fume
Melody Drifting in the Rain
Shinigamihime no Saikon adapted from Shinigamihime no Saikon (Novel) and there is an ongoing sequel
Meteor Methuselah ... Somehow I feel this fit. Although a different era may or may not fit per say. This does have a tragedy tag, but it has a happy ending. ( I believe it only has a tragedy tag because something happens to a secondary character, but even he gets a happy ending.)
I will 2nd Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori aka Anatolia Story and Emma. Now Anatolia Story has a tragedy tag, HOWEVER it DOES have a happy ending. (Actually a really happy ending, I think it only has a tragedy tag due to some of the really dramatic stuff that happens). Emma as the first person who suggested it already stated it is a Seinen, however it really doesn't feel like other Seinens. (If anything it feel like a Josei but with a more tone down drama. Still drama, but not over exaggerated. The best I can explain it)
If you don't mind harlequin based mangas there's
Dorobou wa Koi no Hajimari
Ichiman Pound no Hanamuko
Kedakaki Yakusoku
Risou no Tsuma no Takurami wa
Akai Houseki no Himitsu
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

Oops, Yeah sorry there was meant to be more to that post. I didn't even realize it posted. My net was having a funny 5 mins apparently. So yeah I apologize profusely for the unhelpful half post. This was the full post:
Can't you just say only non-tragic shoujo/josei? That's a long monotonous list to read in capitals -__- Plus entirely pointless when you say only shoujo/josei because most of them would get cancelled out. The only one you'd have to say after that would be no smut, as you don't get ecchi in shoujo/josei. It's just you don't say what you actually do want in your post, so it becomes find the odd genre out.
Anyways my answers:
Yeonmo (definitely fits the whole love someone she shouldn't thing. Though she stills honours her other marriage in a way)
Knight princess It's got a bit where the atmosphere is heavy, but no tragedy.
Sarasah
Tenma no ketsuzoku
Joou no hana
Basilis no musume
Kakan no madonna
Koukyuu Days - Shichi Kuni Monogatari
Wanted
Shipwrecked
Xing Gui Shi Tian Kong De Dao Lu
Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken
Tsuki no shippo
Scarlet palace seconded (it fits your particular request of loving one guy she shouldn't whilst being destined to be with another)
Past but fantasy elements/ world:
Rure
Kage ni saku hana
Saver (seconding)
Saver has the same sort of situation as Yume no Shizuku, Ougon no Torikaga. Where people die to begin the manga and free the mc from ties. I would call it a tragedy if it ended in the first volume, but the rest of the manga isn't particularly tragic. Off the top of my head I can think of one minor character death later that was mildly sad.
Crystal dragon
Evyione
Operation liberate men-this is more or less just an alternate dimension but it isn't a modern dimension. They all go around in togas and tunics and stuff.
Aoki Umi no Torawarehime
Akagami no Shirayukihime
Ciel
Legend of Chun Hyang
Legend of nereid
EDIT:
I get why you put it, lots of people put their preferences. Plus it is helpful to put them, I just think there are better ways of putting it. Like I agree with nakie08, saying be warned is ott. You don't walk into a shop and say be warned! no apples, cheese, cereal or milk are allowed!! Now give me something else. The shop clerk would just be like =___= and? go pick something then? Whereas if you say do you have bread or coffee? you get a better response.
Also @Hespia Klarerin: non-tragic josei yuri? =__= I did a check, there's 15 in MU's database, none of which are historical. I'm surprised you didn't catch me out on shoujo/shounen ai XD. I'll admit there are quite a few of those, many historical as well. Though I agree with you about the tragedy, definitely hard suggesting ongoing stuff before we know the outcome. Also with the long ones you can't always remember every bit of the plot. Thus gauging tragedy in them is tricky. Like Basara and Red river:
Like Kitty18dnsz said, They have super happy endings but both have some fairly major character deaths and peril throughout. If you're the type that hates character death in gruesome ways, don't read red river~. Its an amazing manga though possibly not for you. Basara is less gruesome, just has a melancholic atmosphere at times. Plus people die, mainly early in the manga. Red river also has some smut, its by the same artist as 'yume...' so it has the same style of sex scene.

Thank you all so, so, so much! I have read a lot of Red River and liked it, but I like no love scenes in a manga and on the rare occasion, it's alright as long as it's tastefully done.
When that one boy got skinned and was made into a hat in the beginning , it really freaked me out.
I have already read and liked :
Tsuki no Shippo I really, really loved the main couple. Suprisingly, I liked the whole ninja thing.
Crystal Dragon Wanted more romance though.
Evyione Not surprising considering mermaids are one of my all-time favorite mythical creatures.
Legend of Nereid Read some of it and loved it. Just wish that the hero hadn't given up so easily.
Basara Just wonderful all around.
I have started reading The Pearl Grudge and it is leaning towards the direction I was hoping for.
Once again, Thanks so much everyone! 😀 Any more?
@nakie08
I click on each manga that is offered and automatically see if it has a genre that I don't like. If it doesn't then I go back to the list and click on the next one. If all they did was post mangas that included things I don't like, then they wasted their time. Hence my list. As far as passion goes, I'm pretty sure everyone is passionate about manga or else they wouldn't have joined this website. I love manga just as much as anybody, but I know there is a time and a place for everything. I click on forum topics all the time to see if somebody needs help and if they don't, I move on to help someone else who needs it instead of posting suggestions when it wouldn't do them a bit of good - wasting mine and their time. Another thing - I'm not forcing anyone to post. I know they're not obligated to help me and I thank them, but once again, if they don't want to post they don't have to. As I said before, I'm not forcing anyone to post.
