I have a fun game! It is a storytelling thread! I start a story line, and everyone after me will post a continuation of the story. The goal is for the story to be as long, epic and entertaining as possible.

Guidlines:

  1. Everyone who posts here must continue the story. This continuation can be fairly long (if u know what u are doing) or as short as a sentence.

  2. Don't contradict what has come before. The story should be somewhat fluid and make sense as a whole.

  3. Don't write something that will make continuing the story impossible, unless it is part of the natural flow of the story. I mean don't write, "and then giant mecha came from Mars and destroyed the Earth. The end." unless the story actually calls for it.

OK. Since I am the creator I will start first...

It is a dark autumn night, and the wind is blowing through the trees, making an eerie rattling noise. Three dark shapes can be seen walking through the dimly lit road. One tall lean man, another short and stout one, and a little girl come into view. They enter the late night diner on the corner of the street. This diner is the ChuChu Train Diner, open 24/7, whith the best malt shakes in town. The three walk in, and sit down in a corner booth. The waitress sees them come in, and thinks "what an odd group, I wonder what they are up to this late at night?" However, she puts this thought out of her mind, and walks up the the trio. "What can I get for you tonight, dears?"

....and now its ur guys' turn! 😀

A few seconds pass by in silence. The little girl answers first with a coffee. "Coffee?" the waitress replied. The girl nods. The waitress writes it down on her pad and the looks toward the tall man. "And you?" she asked. "He doesn't want anything, but I'll take a water with lemon if you don't mind," the stout man says. "Okay then, can I get any of you something to eat?" "No, just our drinks will do," the girl replies. "Then I'll be right back." The waitress walks off.

In the absence of the waitress and lax atmosphere of the Chu Chu Train Diner, the strange assortment of the group becomes lively. The little girl is gazing at the jukebox in the corner in wonder while her companions entertain themselves to their own thoughts. It wasn't every night they made stops to such easy-going places. In fact, the girl could count on one hand the number of times her companions actually agreed to stop and "catch up" on the news as they called it. Such visits were her only connection to having a normal childhood.
Before her curiosity got the better of her, the waitress was back with their orders and a smile. "Here are your drinks," she says placing the drinks to the appropriate customer. The little girl's eyes brighten at the brewing coffee. She loved the bitter taste of the brown liquid and then drowing it in pounds of sugar.
"Thanks!" she says with a delighted smile that earns her a blank stare from one of her companions who has ordered nothing and has refrained to silence.
The waitress laughs softly. "You're welcome hon. So what brings ya'll up to Kanika County?"
