Hi, I have an IPod mini(4gb). I have no problems with it except for what happen last night which left it unusable in a way. My brother wanted me to add a song to his IPod, but couldn't cause his froze or something and doesn't respond to any button pressed. So I used mine and for some reason it wasn't adding the song and then when I changed a setting and lost all my songs, but the one my brother wanted "just great lost 3.5 gigs of songs for just 1 song, but that ain't the problem. While it was syncing I unplugged it before it was done I guess and now my IPod won't start. Like I plug it in to the USB it recognizes it, but has a problem and in Device Manage says the Device cannot start. Anyone know how to fix this?? Like is their a way to reformat it without the CD, cause even that doesn't recognize that it's even connected. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it or am I SOL and have to buy a new one??

you can always try to press the menu button and the middle button at the same time for 10 seconds or something and that helps for freezing mabye it helps for your prob too
