I can't remember the title or any of the characters' names, but it starts off with a girl working in her family's noodle shop, who loves acting and watching plays/movies/dramas and the like. She doesn't have any particular talents except acting, which she's really good at.
One day she gets a free ticket to see some play (she jumps into a freezing lake to get the ticket) and gets discovered by some woman with a scarred face when she performs the entire play on the spot.
Some more stuff happens....and eventually the girl runs away from home to become a scholarship student at the scar lady's acting school.
Sh also has a rival - really famous child/teen actress (I think her name was ayumi or ayumu or something)
One more thing: the entire time, scar lady is trying to find her successor: the girl who can successfully act out a cherry blossom tree that's in love with a man.

I only remember pointless things from now on so i'm not really useful anymore.
