Just as this thread's title says, i'm suggesting you add a function in edit to change your thread title. Various reasons could be typo, notification (like: "Question answered already") ect.
Basically: upgrade edit so you can edit your thread title too.

For now, just make a post in the thread asking to rename the thread...I'm not sure if we want people to be able to edit the titles of their own threads

they can already do that.....they can edit their own post.
