I'm not sure if it has viruses or not; hasn't affected my computer yet.

You should try downloading from trusted sites (as trusted as sites which host scanlated mangas can get). I find it preferable, as I can scan the files, and compressed viruses can't infect your computer until they are extracted. I think.

There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

It's really difficult to avoid sites or even downloads that don't even have viruses in them.

Everyone should have an anti-virus program, if you haven't done so, that scans all downloads and realtime guard. Not only that, you gotta make sure you got adequate security projection on your comp.

That's all I can say. Start with the cause, not the actual problem.
