Sadly enough, QC seems to be the rate limiting step at www.storminheaven.net, since I'm the only one doing it. If I can recruit even one dedicated (good!) QCer, it'd be a load off my back! Our group does nearly the full spectrum of genres, from shoujo to shounen-ai to shounen (very little yaoi these days), and I'd only ask you to work on what you're comfortable with.

What I'd require of a QCer: able to fix underleveled pages (common), and make the editor redo overleveled pages (rare); able to clean up random dirt (common) or left-over gutter shadow (unusual); able to center text within text bubbles and change font size or style as required (very common!); able to fix up the small missed clones (rare); able to sync page numbers and rename files to match previous releases (must be checked every chapter); able to fix any grammar spelling errors (rare); able to catch things that don't make sense (eg, wrong text in the wrong bubble) and bring it to my attention. And importantly, you'd need to be able to do at least 2 chapters a week, more preferred (chapters usually being 40-50pgs).

Most of our editors are pretty good, so it's not as much work as you'd think, but you need to be an editor yourself to handle any slip-ups. If anyone is interested in helping, please email me at kalendel@gmail.com for a quick test. Thanks!
