Yeah I just finished watching the anime for this and was very impressed. Had always known of this series but damn...... never considered watching it until recently. Even with some of the criticism I seen in some reviews, like the music is off or the ending was bad. I feel this series was damn near perfect, just wish it was a bit longer. It did leave me with a few questions like what Griffith does with his new powers, and does Gatts ever find and kill Griffith. Now my question is this, does the manga have more info or content as to what happens after the last episode of the anime? Of course it shows that Gatts some how survives that nightmare with all those demons (crazy and impressive) and decides to go after Griffith. But I can't help but to wonder what happens next. Haven't read even one chapter of this and decided to post here to ask if the manga had more to tell about the story after that part where Griffith becomes a demon or is the story even the same?

I would seriously recommend you to read the manga... And ASAP!
Really if you liked the anime, you don't know what you're missing by not reading the manga.
The anime covers from around v3 to 14. But I also suggest that you don't skip any part when reading the manga.
On the other hand, the manga is still ongoing, so I'm warning you once you catch up to the current releases you're going to suffer from berserk withdrawal.

The anime practically is a "cheap version" of the story (and there are rumors that say that it was only made to serve as propaganda to the manga.) It left out entire volumes of the story, characters, and fight scenes out so it could be compressed in such a small number of episodes.
To your information, the part that was animated is like the beginning of the story, where the main characters are introduced (It isn't even a complete arc!).
I'm not going to tell you any details of what happened since I really hate spoilers, but what I can tell you is that you must read this manga now so you could discover the awesomeness of one of the best mangas that have ever been made.

Yeah I thought that the story was so good and epic that it deserved more episodes but I guess I shall look into the manga now. Thanks for the comments.

You just broke 2 rules in 1 right there.
First: do not double post.
Second: Don't ask where to download.

Sorry didn't know about the double post rule. But umm I never asked about downloading. I asked if those volumes existed. Although most series do have a volume 1-3 I am not aware of those volumes for this series. I thought someone might answer: Yes there are volumes 1-3 OR no there are no volumes 1-3. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Usually when people ask if volumes 1-3 exist, it just another way of asking where they can find them. Because up to now I don't think I ever heard of any manga or (any other form of media) that directly starts with a volume 4 and no volume 1-3.
If you can successfully point to me a case where that happens, then I'll consider that I was wrong.
Anyway, consider this as my answer to that question. Yes volumes 1-3 do exist.

Well I can't think of a case like that mainly cause I've only read maybe 4 or 5 manga in all. Guess you could say I'm a noob in that regard.

imagine making a manga that the ending was vol 1-3, and the rest happened starting at vol 4 with a twist at the last volume so the ending actually means something else 😀
it'd be like fight club
but yea, read this manga at your own risk, when you inevitably reach the last translated chapters it's horrible. But life must go on, as it always does with the not-fully-translated series

This series is really amazing. As far as those rumors about the anime being propaganda I can't say for sure but the bottom line is that the anime is pretty much just a taste of the story that the manga offers. The anime was still very good but such an epic story surely deserves a lot more episodes than that.
