Not sure where else to post this request, sorry if it's in the wrong location.

Topic previously brought up here: https://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=129750

For groups like Harudaki (if there are any others), completely private and unable to be joined, should their releases be posted on MU? It causes problems for readers and other scanlation groups. As us readers see a release posted, we want to read the work but soon find that it is behind an impenetrable wall. And scanlation groups looking for works to translate will see that same title and pass it over because it is labeled as already translated.

If it was a private group with strict joining policies I wouldn't be asking this, but Harudaki is closed and no one can join which makes it different from other groups. All groups have a right to make their works private, to prevent people from stealing and reposting them. However, we shouldn't be updating manga as translated for the public when the group hasn't made it public enough for anyone to ever read it.

Is this something the admins would consider, or are their updates valid? I would of course defer to whatever choice they'd make, but no harm in asking.
