I have read this manga where the main leads were childhood friends and neighbors also.
The girl ( she had blonde hairs and kept them in a ponytail) feelings for the boy but the boy liked another girl. The other girl was very pretty and if i remember correctly she liked another boy.
The four of them were doing some school works together as representatives of their class so yeah kind of like this.
