Although I've always dated someone taller. (social stigma? I can't tell), I generally find shorter guys really cute, and some of my friends are dating guys that have a few inches shaved off. It doesn't bother me.

Why is there no option for " I don't care." I feel so boxed in by these surveys.

As a short guy...standing at 5'2'', I find it doesn't matter in the long run. I'm short and shouldn't be so choosy since the other person will be more so then myself.

I can't seem to choose. I'm a relatively tall girl and I'd like a partner taller than me. Around the same height, would be fine too. I don't know why I would want a taller partner. I guess, internally, I'm pretty old fashion so I'm stuck on the way of thinking, where the male should be dominant over the female. Not that I prefer something like that but I guess my mind is just holding on to this way of thinking. I'm not even that old either. I'm only 17. Which goes to show you just how strong sexism is still in our society today.

Male taller definitely! I like the guy to be just tall enough so that my head comfortably rests on his shoulders. I'm only 5ft 1 myself so a guy too close to 6ft is too tall really. Once I dated a guy way shorter than me, I had to break it of after a couple of weeks because we looked so ridiculous and his personality wasn't enough to overcome it.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

I voted for same height. I am tall so I don't mind dating a guy that's the same height or only a bit shorter (as long as he's not too short). I actually don't like guys that are too much taller than me (would look like giants). It seems to be guys who have issues with their height more often than girls. Many are too scared to date taller girls. Come on, have more self condifence. I view a person as a whole and an individual. The whole package (overall looks, dressing style, body shape, manners, etc) is more important than a feature such as height. My cousin is short and his girlfriend is about the same height as his (she's taller in heels). They are one of the happiest couples I have met.

There are pluses to all three of those options. I'd either prefer a ggod bit smaller or taller. No idea why I have a thing for tall women. >.>
