That guy on the last page really looks like Aizen!
Did anyone else notice that?

Yap... a clone of Aizen in human world sigh...

Also, where is my Inoue-chan?! I want to see how sexy she became xD

Now on new arc: omg more bleach? No way... i want to this end unless he put a good story this time...

Since the other was like: Girl X got kidnapped, Good guy go on rescue and get pwned. Go trough some training and go again and kick their asses. Girl X saved. Girl Y gets kidnapped and good guys go on rescue. They get pwned and more train to gain new powers. Good guys show new looks to look cooler and go to recue girl Y. Good guys kick bad guys asses and save the world.

I just hope this time the stoy dont follow this lame formula and path...

It's only a matter of time before he somehow reclaims his shinigami powers. What I'm interested in is the manner in which he does this. Right now he seems content with just living as a normal human being. The mysterious guy is probably going to play a Shinji type role, offer him the chance to reclaim his powers similar to how Shinji offered Ichigo to help supress his hollow. Initially Ichigo may refuse and then something serious like an attack on someone close to him will probably rekindle his urge to protect the people he cares about, forcing him to reclaim his lost powers.

Just a theory.

exactly what I was thinking. It makes me wonder, what's his purpose in helping Ichigo?
Well apparently he knows who's Ichigo, maybe because he heard ''things'' about him when he was in SS?And only for that reason he's going to help him?
I don't know ,but one thing that I know for sure is that Kubo is now able to regain all the fans he has lost.only of course if he doesn't ruin everything.

but if Ichigo is going to get back his powers,I would like to be,as some have said, his hollow powers,to learn how to control them,it would more interesting.

Of course its going to happen. Look at the father. Its clear now why he lost his powers (under unknown circumstances) but slowly, they came back.

I actually enjoyed this chapter, because for once, someone's sacrifice in Bleach had actual consequences. When Ishida did the same thing, he got his powers back in a week. When Kiddie-Ice-Captain got completely killed - twice! - he came back completely fine two chapters later. No major character ever died.

At least with melancholy, de-powered Ichigo we get a faint hint of a real loss in Bleach. If the characters stopped being insanely overpowered and started running real risks, I could learn to care again.

ALSO - does anyone really think that Ichigo just forgot about his shinigami badge for a year - that he carried around every day in his backpack without noticing it? Remember, the badge was supposed to be invisible to normal humans. When the karate-girl started noticing it, it was a sign that she was developing second sight.

My theory, Ichigo didn't notice the badge until now because he couldn't *see *it until now. His spiritual powers are making a gradual comeback.

Ah, good point. I too was wondering why he just suddenly saw it in his bag after a year.

I must add though, Tatsuki with a mullet just further confirms my suspicions.

Hmm... Bleach or The Breaker... I wonder which mangaka copied off of whom because they realized the story went to crap and needed a fresh start...

i did notice that too.. in fact the very first impression (and the reason i check this forum) was because that really look like aizen. somethings fishy.. though i can't explain it, there's a lot of possibilities..

agreed, and good point. it means that one way or another, he'll get his power back, and that's one proof of it. second, isn't it, once a person die, he can be either in soul society or completely become a hollow? and hollow is the opposite of shinigami, ayt? so if let's say ichigo looses his shinigami powers, what will he become after he died? that will be insane, ayt?

what i think here is that he might be able to get his own shinigami powers, not the one were he need to absorbed rukia's. and this shinigami powers might be on another different level, since he already been on the different level since the last battle he fought with aizen.

that guy in no way at all, not even close, not even a bit looks like Rob Luci from one piece

Anyways that was a great chapter, especially considering the crap we have had to eat for the last 2 years.
Somehow this chapter seemed really sad.....

Guh, I agree. Just got depressed reading it, Ichigo's kind of a downer.

What else did you expect? Meeting Rukia, becoming a shinigami and everything completely changed his life, it became such a huge part in his life. To have all of that taken away, anyone in that position would feel a little down. But at least he sees the positive side. He mentions that he can go back to being a normal teenager (now a senior), thinking about future career path etc. Also all of the training and fighting hasn't gone to complete waste, since his physical body has improved ten fold.

To me Bleach would become more interesting if he learns how to control his hollow powers than regaining his shinigami ones.
Imagine how SS would respond to Ichigo fighting hollows as a hollow.
Just a thought.
i only read the first line of shaggievara speech... but from what ive read i disagree

if ichigo learned to control his hollow powers than we wouldnt have those unexpected twists and turns that come with him not knowing how to control his hollow powers.

it would all be so typical, in alot of other mangas usually when the main charecter learns to control a certain power
it becomes so cliche after a while and because they can use it when ever they want it ultimately becomes more predictable and it seems less dramatic

Ok ... nice new chapter . But here's my question. In all of these training sagas we had till now, when exactly did Ichigo train his body? Cause as I recall it was his shinigami spirit - soul or whatever you want to call it. And when he was training as a shinigami , as in training his reiachu and his shinigami abilities , it was Gon that was in his body . Therefore , and correct me if I'm wrong , it would mean that this "psysical" body has no honed reflexs and well trained muscles , right? Besides his natural - logical abilities , ofcourse. So , can you tell me anyone , no matter how good and trained they are that can stop a knife like that? But then again you'll tell me that when Gon was in his body his could jump like nuts . Just that I never considered it weird till now

And by the way ... WHERE'S MA ORIHIME?!?!

the finl getsuga tensho pushed up is phyiscal abilites very much. He may have lost his shinigami powers, but a little of the push up did remain that´s why he is so capable.
Don´t worry, i´m sure Inoue will appear 🤢 she is part of ichigos nakama

Thank you! The man has to have a fetish for mullets, there's no other explanation.

But, as guardianx71 said, that wasn't his body, that was his soul. I kind of see his point.
Otherwise, this chapter just felt a bit annoying for me. I couldn't get any real feeling out of it outside of overly scripted depression.

Also:

That is part of the problem with this series, there are no twists and turns. His power fluctuates more than an old persons bladder. One second he is God like, next second some peon slaps him around like a child. He "trains" next fight he destroys that peon and maybe an upper level boss, with everyone wondering "When will his strength end?!?!! Oh God.. he just cut a city in half!!" and the VERY next fight after he rests, he can't even cut the guy who gives him a free shot.
It is overly predictable that his power fluctuates, him just learning how to control his hollow power would simply remove one of the more annoying apsects of this series. (Until the next new species pops out and he turns out ot also be one of them)

A new arc, a new start, better hopefully. I think the lack of consistencies in previous arc really hurt the series as a whole but hopefully, all that will be rectify in this new arc 😎 .

I had totally forgotten about the Aizen arc, for me it doesn't exist, this is a new Bleach that i'm reading, and the first chapter for me is just nice for a new start, hopefully it'll pick up in the coming chapter and slowly regain its momentum as one of the best shonen manga around like it used to be 😀
