i don't remember having a nosebleed but i remember giving one by punching some stupid boy when i was ten..

I get nosebleeds for two reasons:

1. Result of allergy to mold spores--especially the type that developes on rotting leaves and other vegetation. Spring and autumn use to bother me so much because of all the dead leaves and plants all around. It wasn't so bad if the stuff just sat there but when it was moved around--grrr!! The weekends were the worst because all the neighbors would go about raking up the stuff and I would be in bloody hell. The bloodshot, itchy, watery eyes and scratchy throat were no picnic either. Now I get shots twice a year to control my symtoms.

2. Result of indoor air being too dry. When we moved into our new home, my siblings, my Dad and I were suffering from nosebleeds at night while we were sleeping. We found out that the forced air heat system used during the winter months was drying the air out too much--our old home used steam heat. Since we were not drinking water during our sleeping hours we would wake up to either a bleeding nose or dryed blood on our faces/clothes. We had a humidifier installed and the episodes ended. When I went away to college I took along a portable humidifier to protect me from dry dorm heat during the winter months.

I rarely get nosebleeds now because I know what to do to prevent them. To make them stop I just pinch my nose, lean forward and breath out of my mouth until it stops.

i will get from only being hit or super dehydrated in a very dry climate

Only ever had 1 nosebleed in my life. When I was in kindergarden, so about 5 years old.
My nose started bleeding, don't remember why though.
Nothing ever since.

XD I was doing some complicated thing with my arms and legs, and i lost control and i couldn't stop myself. Therefore that = splat and lots of blood.

All i really remember was my head being pulled back and being rushed to the sink XD
