And so the anime industry continues to deteriorate...
I can't blame the companies though. They just want to survive, and play it safe. It's stupid moeblob consumers. 🙁 Hopefully the trend will die out soon.

Are you referring to the fact that was stated : lines in the anime will be mostly identical to the manga's
or is it something else ?

The official website of the K-ON! anime series has announced on Friday that the second season will premiere this April on TBS and other affiliated television stations in Japan. The website has also confirmed that the main staff and main cast will return from the first season unchanged. The official blog updated with a report on "Let's Go!" — the December 30 live concert where the second season was officially announced.
