This week's poll was suggested by Great. What time do you wake up on average, assuming some sort of regular schedule? I only listed every hour, so if you normally wake up at 8:30 AM, choose either 8 AM or 9 AM as your option. Up to you.

You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: From the scanlation perspective, what is your current status?
Choices:
Scanlator - votes: 50 (2.2%)
Reader - votes: 1918 (86.1%)
Both - votes: 147 (6.6%)
Neither - votes: 112 (5%)
There were 2227 total votes.
The poll ended: November 18th, 2023 2:30pm PST

If neither, why are you here?

I work overnights, going into work at 1 AM.
So, most of the time I'm waking up at midnight.

Still, on the weekends, I try to adjust and wake up around 6 AM, but that's not my normal sleep schedule, so I voted for 12 AM.

Ahh too many options, for me it's usually between few morning hours, never just one, but there is no option like 6am-9am ;/

Not applicable, what with me having irregular sleep–wake rhythm disorder.

Kinda confused with the previous poll result. I think not many scanlator join the voting, hence the low result of their population, that even the "neither" result are higher.
And I also agree with admin question; if you are neither a scanlator and also not a reader, than why are you here? New reader/scanlator candidate? Casual browser? Or just trolling? 😅

Also, thanks for the acceptance of the voting suggestion.
Maybe the next one could be "What time you go to sleep?"
Or is it already done before? 🤔

I think that the question was a bit tricky. I voted for Neither because I am neither a scanlator nor a scanlations reader. I just read what I buy. I think most people will have voted Neither because of that.

There should have been at least one irregular option...
For me personally, I am forced to wake up at 7 3 days of the week, I sleep til 8 the other two working days so I voted for 8 since under normal circumstances it would be 8 for all weekdays. And then on weekend any time between 9 am and 2 pm...

Usually by 6 am. Our dogs like to go outside and stretch their legs by that time.

Replying to the question why "neither" voters are using this site: Even if you don't read scanlations, it's the best site for checking the status, description, rating, genre, categories and such! It's perfectly normal for me to stand in a book shop and search for a manga on this site because I want to know how many volumes I'd have to buy for a series in advance and also if the manga is even worth buying it at all. I often recommend the site to friends who only read physical mangas.
