[spoiler] I read a manga wear a guy was going to a job interview and helped a bunch of people on the way so he was late and I think he gets the job. He sells shoes at some point and also runs a store at some point all under the same company. He has a girlfriend who lives somewhere else from the beginning and he lets a little girl he lives with call him dad even though he's not. He lives with the girl ,her mother and the grandpa. The girl works at his company I think. It may be a older manga but I could be wrong.
