So this topic might have already been brought up in the past. I tried looking, yet found nothing. Please point me in the right direction if the topic already exists.

Three main questions I have relating to super powers (and please be as specific as possible):

1. While still living in this world, what unique superpower would you like to have?
I'll try to make an ever-growing list of possible examples for anyone stuck, and keep in mind that the list is for suggestions. If you have any ideas not on the list, run with it, and I'll add it to the list later.

2. Now that you've obtained your superpower, what do you plan on doing with it?
And no, it does't have to be the simple "choose to from now on be good or evil." Nothing's stopping you from saving a silverback gorilla, and then going off to murder that receptionist that was looking at you funny.

3. What are a few other superpowers you'd choose, and why did you choose your unique power over the others?
   A curious followup question to the first one basically.

Some characters have the power of being 100% unbeatable as Bruce. He can defeat Superman and Darkside in canon and survived a weapons-grade heroin dose so that is a power too. Dat Griffith/Wolverine power-set is also...
Or one can end up as a Mary Sue/Gary-Stu 🤢

1. I go for Rogue´s absorption power-set as she can get all of them and i can live with wearing a full body condom. This only works in world filled with powers though.
   Ok it also cheating so from yours i would go with mind powers as Foresight // See into the future. These would make me win the game of life and would be easy to hide as i don´t want to end as a dissected corpse in a lab.

2. What would i do: Improve my living standards by 1000% and cheat, cheat, cheat so i could become corrupt as Marvel´s Purple Man if i am not careful.

3. What else to grab: To some degree limited immortality so i could jumping in volcano when i had enough. Here it would be good to stop ageing at 30 or so and then just pretend that you are the son a nephew as i would be a rich recluse thanks to my awesome metal capacity. That extended family trick is in a million vampire books.
   Flying without wings // Levitation would be a good bonus as that is a most humans dream and i would go into a lab with the wing version as every tv station would be after my angelic good looks.

I somehow forgot to give my answers... So tired last night. :/

1. I'd go with mind control or brainwashing, as it's fit to let me do whatever I want discretely (like have a store owner or law enforcer let me get away with breaking the law if only they saw it), and can possibly be a better alternative to mind reading, as I can have people tell me what they're thinking and then make them forget that they told me.
   I'd prefer for it to be the kind of control that let's ya manipulate people's feelings, so that I could convince people that I've always been their "friend," or heck, even possibly go for the R-rated stuff (just as long as it aint creepy hypnosis played out like in a forced/NTR hentai...shudder). Hell, especially if there are other people with powers, that'll just contribute to my overall power.

2. Mostly said it in first question.

3. Regeneration would be nice, as it's basically like invulnerability/indestructibility, plus immortality without having to live forever.
   Shapeshifting of both kinds would be convenient as well.

Haha, probably super smarts so I can have whatever job I want and maybe the ever popular immortality.
I don't intend to fight crime using my powers.

Fighting crime's kinda dumb. Like you'd need to already be in a location where a crime's bring committed; or, have a power that can get you there to save the day, yet while knowing when and where exactly the crime's being committed. So unless you're carrying around a radio that hears what the police are up to, not much will really happen.

Either that, or you're living in a world where everything's shear coincidence, like while you're shopping a robbery's taking place across the street.

Something like the Will and the Word from The Belgariad/Malloreon. As long as you KNOW it will work you can do pretty much ANYTHING.

Live for 7000 years (Or as long as you need to live as the case may be. If you need to protect a stone that will exist forever...), kill a GOD, resurrect the dead, make otters talk, fix a broken door... Some examples from the books :D

As to what I would do with it... Don't really know.

Selective Time Stop comes to mind. Choosing what I can stop, or stop everything or this but not that.

What would I do with it? I'd find bankers, SJWs, politicians and other people who fuck the rest of the world and kick em in the balls, tits, crotch, or whatever hurts continuously. Watch them writhe in pain when I unstop time and LAUGH! LAUGH HARD! Torture is more fun than murder, less guilt too.

And just plain old magic. Magic can technically do anything. Just need to know how to use it. Kind of like the Will and the Word, but more obscure in definition.

None of us will fight crime...of that i am certain.

You could also have just listed Devil Fruits or brought up Naruto (Kishimoto wrote the Ninja are superheroes) so don´t have to think that hard as these are universal themes.
Even D&D is a similar power fantasy.

Magic, or basically "the power to do anything" gets too broad + practically endless (for me at least) to imagine how you could solve any problem/conflict in just about any way you see fit, hence why I gave a ton of specific superpower examples to choose from or be inspired by. Regardless, that's just my opinion.

I just wanted to list very simple ones that could be found in anything with their own version of any of the superpowers, especially since I'm not an expert nor felt like looking up all of the powers up from something like Naruto or One Piece or D&D. 😛

A being with powers still needs an alignment. To visualize with Batman.

I go with Lawful Evil as i will turn into a Byronic Hero pretty fast but will still go by basic society and morality rules as i don´t want to be the smartest man in jail or the one with immorality in solitary confinement.

Ahh... about that. In the books there are limits as to what the people with powers actually can do. When performing the "magic" it drains you energy/mana/chi/whatever it was and everyone has different amounts. And if you overuse it or attempt to something impossible you die. The end. The only thing expressly said to be impossible is to will something out of existence. That backfires causing you to cease to exist yourself. (violently)

The MC cheats though. He uses an orb as a substitute for said energy in emergencies - raising the dead for example, something that was supposed to be impossible because a man/woman just didn't have enough energy to do it. (The orb is a solidified being that created the universe or something like that)

But if I should choose a specific power i think I would go with some kind of shape-shifting...

power absorption, flight, and immortality.

Ahhhh it would be awesome to have those powers, although i would put immortality as the first i would like to acquire, and then power absorption, cause with power absorption i could get anything else that would appeal to me. flight is up there because it would be awesome to fly lol, of course with power absorb, i could get it at any time, assuming the world is filled with superpowers.

1. i'd like the power to make people do my bidding... Not mind control im happy enough with they do what i ask without me having to force them.

2. with that power i think i'd make the world a better place for me... not being bad or good just make it as i see fit.

3. invincibility... immortality is for losers, not dying makes life too boring, while being indestructible makes it more fun 😛 u can die of old age and sickness lol.

1. everybody know of auto regenerescence power like the wolverine now what I want is the opposite but the same. Imagine having the ability to recreate yourself the way you want. The wolverine will always look the same and will always be under the influence of his high regenerescencebut what if it was under the control of the mind. the best ways to call it would be Reforming regen.

2. Being able the reforme myself I could change sex or return to being a kid this would make me able to live a thousand different live for the age of 1 to a 100, this would make it possible for me to read till the end of time I would only need to forget most of it to not become crazy.

3)rebirth or immorality or auto regen or anything that make it possible for me to read fantasy till the end of time would have been a great power but being able to return to my youth and forget to be scared and to not be sick like a was would be my second most desire wish.
