You know what my favorite kind of thread is? The kind that discusses obscure series people love, especially when they're not so popular, or just plain awesome.

Threads about underrated series, though, I just can't get into.

It's not underrated it's just not popular. And the reason for that is - it didn't have any scanlations at the beginning - only now that Viz's released 8 volumes, it's been picked by a scanlation group. And as much as we might want to believe otherwise, probably over 95% of the members uses MU because of scanlations - we wouldn't need a chapter by chapter updates if that was not the case.

You can PM me if you need a temporary (freelance) cleaner/redrawer for some project. Especially if it's something with nice art.
Being the lazy person that I am, I'm not likely to accept anything long-term though.

There's only one thread like this that's still open from your links. And how exactly am I supposed to find them all when the titles are of a variety that great? Am I the god of guessing or what?

Isn't "not popular" and "underrated" kind of the same? To me underrated implies "good but not popular" while a manga not popular can be both good or bad.

"Underrated" implies that it's better that people think it is/give it credit to. Here, people just haven't had the chance to read it. The scanlations started two months ago so it's still a "fairly new" series and not a lot of people like to read unedited scans of English volumes, so they might skip it altogether.

Hey, I put much more effort into shooting down your duplicate thread than I did in the other two from this year - they only got 1 or 2 links. You should be honored... or something.

For future reference, searching "underrated" turns up four such threads (aside from this one), including the original thread that's still open. (The others are locked because only one thread is allowed per topic.)

You guys should stop being such nazis about this. Just leave this thread alone, it will be closed anyway.
