Hunter X Hunter Manga Put on Hold in Japan Again

This year's 26th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced on Monday that Yoshihiro Togashi is putting his Hunter X Hunter adventure manga on hiatus in Japan, starting with the next issue which ships on June 7. He had been serializing the manga again between January 4 and the current issue. At 20 installments, the most recent run is the longest uninterrupted run of Hunter X Hunter since Togashi began taking breaks from the manga.
The last compiled book volume of the manga, #27, shipped in December. Viz Media published the 26th volume in North America this past January.

What a bother! I've been wanting to read Hunter x Hunter for the past two years, but I don't want to start unless I'm sure it'll be completed... It's a terrible let-down to read something that eventually ends up being discontinued.
If Togashi keeps this up, he'll probably die before he gets to finish it...kind of like what happened with Trinity Blood. 😐
Anyway- thank you for confirming the rumour that's being going around!

ffs not again. There's been about 15 chapters released in total and he goes on hiatus again. Togashi needs to end the series soon...

I really wish somebody else would draw it while he told the story, I don't want hxh to end crapily because of his medical problems

^ lol. I heard from the rumours that Naoko (his wife) had the intention to continue the manga due to Togashi's sickness (or maybe he pretended to be sick though he just too occupied finishing the latest game that he'd been followed).. I can't really imagined Gon and Leorio looked like Tuxedo Mask... The images are mental!
This is what annoys me the most, we don't even know when he will continued back doing HxH. I just hope that this hiatus break won't be dragged to more than 1 year..
