Quote from daed

for a different kind of karate series, try yawara

Yawara seems interesting since I did judo (very != from Karate).

And btw Judo is a Sport not a Martial Art right now, so the genre might be wrong if this is the main topic of the series.

Than i say superb i do not mean dragon ball i mean that u will see many martial arts how they face each ather in very i ll repeat very realistic way and also u will see fights from diffrent angle from psichological view . If u are searching for some good realistic martial arts manga with description how anybody can become strong ( and i m not tallking about mangish training like river training and alike ) this is a manga for u 😎 😃

Check out Vagabond and Rurouni Kenshin if you haven't already. They may not be hand to hand fighting manga but still martial arts and very good. Also try Holyland and Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru (only has the first 10 chapters in english but seems to have great potential plus 33 volumes in japanese so plenty to read). Also Try Worst and Crows. These are not martial arts but great fighting manga with plenty of big brawls worth checking out.

Why is it in "Manga General"?...
I'll move it.

Mononoke Hime is good... Although I don't know why it's under "martial arts"...
