im not sure about auto-tuner (some are less strong),
but none of her music is written by her...
i heard it was this one dude, which is now sueing gaga and her managers for not giving him any slice of the pie or not being fair enough fitting what he deserves...and theres really nothing wrong with auto-tuning or performing on someone else's songs
as long as they stay in the legal boundaries, everyone does it nowadays
but youre right, music isnt what it used to be, its all about money, looks, and publicity

Her weird outfits are what makes her Lady Gaga though. You take them away and she's not Lady Gaga anymore, she's just another pop singer. She knows that, so I guess that's why she's goes a "little" OTT.
Plus her outfits are what people actually look forward to seeing most when they go to her concerts too.
As a person, I think she's mad. I remember seeing an interview on Jonathon Ross. She's not normal. Lets leave it at that.
I don't hate her or anything though. I'd rather take out my hatred on people like that Bieber kid.

To be honest, I love her music.
But iIt's true that she's an attention whore, but I still like her music. It's catchy but still has a special feel. First I thought she was just doing mainstream pop, but I definitely like her songs more than the ones of others. And doesn't she (co-)compose a lot of her songs? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just guessing, from what I know.
And also Lady Gaga was a singer before she was famous to, back then she was known as Stefani Germanotta( I guess that's her real name).

I respect her. I've read into her bio. Started playing piano at the age of 4. Wrote her first composition at the age of 13. That's talent. I don't much care for her singles. The early ones, "Poker Face", "Paparazzi", even "Love Game" and "Just Dance", are pretty good. But they don't appeal much to me. It's her other songs that I appreciate more. I really like "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich", "Brown Eyes", and "Paper Gangsta". The thing about these songs is that it's a little less heavy on the computerized, dance sounds, especially "Brown Eyes". Really, the entire second half of her first album is really different from the first half, which contains all her singles. I think the second half of The Fame shows her true musical prowess.
Her second album, The Fame Monster, is a step back, imo. "Bad Romance" is not one of my favorites (that's putting it nicely) and neither is "Alejandro". Really, there are only two tracks that I can really get behind, "Speechless" and "Teeth", but I really like these two songs. Both of these songs are really different from any of her other songs, including those in the second half of The Fame.
So yea, to sum it up, you can say I like her.

As a designer, I'm really not interested on the music. I pretty much don't listen pop music, except for dancing, but some of her videos are absolutely amazing.

You people make me believe in humanity again... partially. Personally, I heard her Dance Dance over the internet and was hooked... only to realize how much I dislike her. Personally, don't think she's strange. She just knows what sells and she'll give just that. Her songs suck just because it's like EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE... dancey popy type music. Why? Cause anything that is actually good is ignored by the majority. When I have kids, they won't even know what pop music is. Do you think I'd want them to listen to a singer that devalues her body and sings for no purpose at all, other than to hear her own voice? OMG... don't even get me started on her videos... stereoids anyone? WTF is wrong with this person? I heard one kid once that he likes her because she's so individualistic. Individualistic my ass!!! She's just like everyone else, just a little bit more strange. Part of the media collective does not make one unique.
I'm glad that I no longer feel so alone in my dislike of her. Nowadays it feels as everyone is a HUGE fan of hers... the least favorable statement (outside of a really cool girl I met at a wedding reception) is that she's played too much, not that she sucks.
All in all, you guys are awesome. And HELL YEA to the cello concertos!!! I'd only like to add the piano and violin ones too 😀
