I just read Bleach 420 and when the final GT is used Ichigo literally becomes Getsuga and in the process becomes insanely strong but as a result, loses all of his shinigami powers. But the big question is what will be left afterward? I mean Ichigo has an insane amount of spirit power and that is not going to go away so what will the medium for that power be? Will Ichigo's appearance as Getsuga be a continual thing with Ichigo channeling his power through it or will something else show up afterward?

what was the point of that power up if he could already kill him? anyways, Ichigo is going to get his powers back or stop using the power before it takes effect, unless this is really the end.

I'm not really sure. I mean his dad learned it, and from what Ishida's dad said a long time ago, your powers gradually come back.

He just said hes going to lose his shinigami powers. Now hes just going to use his hollow powers to fight.

I don't think it's a matter of losing his Shinigami powers and then being forced to resort to hollow powers. I think he just lost his Shinigami powers and gained powers that transcends Shinigami or hollow powers. So, he's not going to be normal, he's just not going to be a Shinigami, or hollow. That's what I think.

It's like someone mentioned with Isshin. Just because he lost his powers, doesn't mean he can't regain them. This isn't the end of the manga, hopefully This is like when Orochimaru dies in Naruto, but then you realize Madara's the real threat.

I hope not. They don't have anything to hint at any other villains. You can tell that Kudo isn't sure what is going to happen next. If it doesn't end after Aizen the story would be screwed up and wouldn't be interesting anymore if it still is. It's been written into a corner. Nothing can extend it other than dragging out the fight.

I wish you were right, but I think it's a 99.9% possibility that the manga will continue. So, he's not going back to normal. He's just going to stay a transcendental. That's what I think.

I don't think end with aizen because there's other think that still unknown such as the king and his guard. Maybe the king is the real villian here.. 😮

I despise the whole 'return to normalcy' at the end of stories; there's no better way to remind you it was just a story.

I think inoue will do something to change ichigo back to normal since she has the power to control time.
