Fight Club... very odd movie.
I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?

Kill bill
Matrix (first two)
Crow
Godfather
Gone with the wind (Dont judge me)
Blades of fury
Fast and the furious
cat on a hot tin roof
seven samurai
kung fu hustle
These are just a few , if you had asked me what was my favorite movie when i was 6 or 7 i could count them in one hand but now it seems the list could go one forever.
Dear god, is it just me or has no one bothered to mention the genius that is Mel Brooks?!? Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, The Producers, History of the World Part 1, his stuff just kills me, along with Monty Python. As for action stuff I gotta give it up to Tarantino he make a damn good moive, also the afore mentioned Fight Club and Snatch (so glad Brad Pitt dropped the pretty boy roles and moved to action) And for all you supposed Depp fans out there I'm suprised you didn't mention Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and What's Eating Gilbert Grape, two of his best performances in my opinion. There's more I could name but those are probably the ones near the top, as far as the non-animated stuff 😉
Oh, yeah I forgot Anchorman. 😀

You had me up until Anchorman. Way to drop the ball. 🤢
I never liked Spaceballs though. Overrated trash, especially considering I hate Star Wars.
Bah you have to have a little mindless humor once and a while, and if that doesn't describe Anchorman down to a T I don't know what would.

If you're looking for mindless humor you can do better than Anchorman. Super Troopers, off the top of my head, is better.

Hmmm.. I pretty much like anything that doesn't suck but I guess I'll stick to comedy for now.
Old School
Wedding Crashers
Grandma's Boy
Superbad
Knocked Up
Super Troopers
Hmm.. A lot more but I'm not thinking well enough right now.
While I'm at it.. Might as well show my hatred for Spiderman 3.. Not explain.. Just show.. Anyone who liked it is a liar or a racist.. Ok so maybe not a racist. Polled from my friends in real life.. Most thought it was ok. But the very few that had seen most of the episodes from years back didn't like it. Ruined Venom, the Hob Goblin, and last part with the Sandman.. Ahh.. And the other two were so good too..(imo)

...This thread needs some actually good movies.
Off the top of my head:
Fight Club
Snatch
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
Hot Fuzz
Shaun of the Dead
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
The Departed
Wow! The first three are on my favorites list. I liked Infernal Affairs more than The Departed though.
I really enjoy watching movies and I watch almost every kind (I can't stand cheesy romantic comedies though)
I'm so obsessed with questions such as fate and free will and what ifs so lots of my favorites deal with these things:
Once upon a time in America
The Godfather 1 and 2
Memento
The usual suspects
Gattaca
The shining
The sixth sense
Matrix
Melinda and Melinda
Minority Report
Sliding Doors
Truman Show
happiness
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
Vanilla Sky
Edward Scissorhands
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
And the list goes on...
To see everything from the perspective of eternity
Godfather I and II
Pirates of the Caribbean I, II, III
Band of Brothers
Patriot
Borat
Letters from Iwojima
300
Saw I, II and III
Hotel Rowanda
Kung fu Hustle
My sassy girl
Longest Yard
Hostel
Swordfish
Coach Carter
Around the world in 80 days(the one with Jackie Chan)
Rob-b-Hood
Last Samurai
Troy
Interview with a Vampire
Shanghai Noon & Shanghai Knights
Rocky (Balboa)
Can we state animated movies?
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children
Treasure Planet
Aladdin
Nightmare before Christmas

me im a pretty big movie buff and criteque like a a$$hole but my big ones are
fight club

easyrider
ragingbull
taxi driver
fullmetal jacket
anything of clint eastwood in the 60s and 70s
drugstore cowboy
godfather trilogy
a dog day afternoon
pulp fiction
reservoir dogs

a lot of artsy movies where the main character goes through some experience that makes him contemplate his life or a twist or ironic mishap pertaining to the theme plus im also a sucker for romances but dramatc ones not crowd appealing bullshit but i can also watch comedies like grandmas boy but i deffinatly would say top movies unless its officespace or superbad
