Me and bunch of friends trick or treated, everyone thought we were stupid though. We were running on lawns shouting, but we avoided swearing and such.

My boys did; one was a mobster & the other wore a military jacket & hat. They were out 1.5 hours and got a grocery bag 1/2 full of candy! 😲 I think I should have made their dentist appointments for next week rather than last week... 🤣

You could always give it to me. 😐

I had to give all my candy away. And here I thought only old people lived around me.

Nobody tricks or treats on Halloween here TT_TT (it's more like an imported holiday that's only celebrated in schools and some places where Halloween-themed parties are organized)
So I'll just have to wait till Christmas for my share of candies~

...I don't think they'd ever forgive me if I gave it away. 🤣 as it is I had to solemnly promise that I wouldn't get into it or take even one piece! 😔 I'm sure they'll give me some tomorrow. 😀

Quote from Mamsmilk

I wanna, but I think that cops will treat me to prison
and make me do tricks there.

The odd thing is, although a busker/street performer used the word "trick" in the sexual sense, I didn't think it was commonly used that way until I was watch the last few episodes of season 1 of Samatha Who. 😳

Quote from Dragonfiremule

I didn't go; I just handed out candy. I did dress up, as a peasant. It was hilarious. NO ONE guessed what I was. I got everything from a 'transie' to a 'tree' in guesses though. XD

Is there any chance that your costume wasn't very precise on the matter?

TofuQueen, I guess you might need to worry if you have to call a doctor if they OD on the candy and get stomachaches? 😐 I guess the route the kids took were filled with lots of lit and generous houses. 🙂

shaggievara, why did you have to give your candy away? But I also remember in high school that this girl enjoyed tricker-treating and she did it that year (with friends) even though she would give the candy away to some other kids. A boy classmate had remarked something like, "Why would I want to do that when I can just buy it [the candy] cheap the next day at the grocery store?"

I had to give it to the trick or treaters, after a while I stopped, though, and made my room mate do it. Haha.

There isn't any trick or treating where I live, though a lot of friends went to hallowe'en costume parties and such- I just stayed at home, made a jack-o'-lantern and baked a pumpkin pie for dinner with my flatmates ^_^

Thought about putting on my ghillie suit and scare a few children last year, but no one showed up. Guess it's not such a bit deal here in Sweden. Or I just happen to be in a bad neighborhood... Lots of elderly instead -.-

(well, without the air rifle. Yes, I'm holding one 😛 )

I've fixed up the colors better now, this was just right out of the box for a quick pose. It's looking just like a bush, stood right in front of a guy once without him seeing me (during a mock battle) Imagine what it could do to a kid 🙄

I've only done it twice.
My record was 300 sweets and 15 packets of chips, and that was in canada.
My princess outfit must've been really nice, with the tiara and all.

Am I the only one who went?

I took my little sister with me (shes 5 and it was her first time!)
She was so adorable. At first I was just going to hold the bags for her, but when people started getting treats for me too, I was like: aww, what the heck.

Who would refuse chocolate? 😳
