I actually like the thought of a cool and smart girl x the shy/sweet moe boy.

I freaking love forbidden relationships! 😛 I think that's what really gives flavor to the plot and definitely adds a whole lot of drama. The one I love the most are Teacher and Student relationships. I don't know, maybe because the teacher is usually intellectual (not an over-the top brainy genius) and actually had experience in love before. Not to mention guys with glasses are HOT 😉 And I think I have this weird thing for older guys... Second would be rivals but it kinda got old for me and I'm trying to avoid it right now so...
Another I love that's not on the list: a relationship in which the people in the relationship are indepent and strong enough that they don't bawl over when their respective spouse goes away for a lenght of time (I'm looking at you Bella Swan >:-( ) But when they are together they make a Kick-Ass team.
Prime example: Roy and Riza (Royai) from FML Anyone who has read the series knows what I am talking about. These two were always together, watching and waiting for the idiot who dares to mess with them to kill them if they hurt the other. This relationship contains two wholly independent people who can make it by themselves if they want to (but it is said that they would die for the other...) and genuilly care for each other. These two -would- make a dynamic couple and they're just plain awesome.
Another example from the same series: Ed and Winry. Now, Winry wasn't always by Ed's side, unlike Riza, but the thing is, she didn't go all suicidal (Unlike Bella...) when he was away and he was gone most of the time with his brother searching for the Philosopher's Stone. And Winry actually wanted to help the brothers with their quest and she did. These two couples are alike because, again, they can actually survive without the other spouse (okay so Riza said she would die for Roy but in my opinion she's strong enough to live on her own...) and they won't die when the other leaves (again, Riza and Roy are debatable). And I find it funny how Winry noticed that she loved Ed. She was like "Oh, I love him." in a train. It was so simple, I loved it.

imperfect girl x imperfect guy... where both help each other mature / become stronger / more humble... basically, a couple in which both parties help each other become better individuals.

i would have to say it depends on the characters and which ones i like so they barely happen since i normally like characters that have the least to do with the series.

Good girl x notorious delinquent is soooper hot! XD
I'm not sure why, tho... lol
But its even sexier if the good girl kinda has a subtle control over the guy, ya know what I mean? ^^

Usually ones where the girl isn't a(n) ditz/idiot, and she can think for herself. =__________=;;

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

Yeah, I agree with that.
I like strong girls better. Not in term of physical strength but that she can hold her ground.
She doesn't just get swayed by every guy she met. That's just plain annoying.

I voted Teacher x Student. One of the only choices where one of the involved parties is an adult (usually^^). It has a taboo feel to it.
I also like Friend + Friend, later lovers. Only if they starting being friends in high school or late middle school. If they've been friends since they were in preschool, it's not believable to me. That's like a "brother-sister-but-not" feel.
