So right now I'm playing SC4 and I'm lovin it but right now I'm looking at some previous Ps3 games that I could buy. I'm looking at these games right now, any recommendations?

-Resistance Fall of Man
-Virtua Fighter 5
-Enchanted Arms
-GTA4
-Uncharted

I'm not really a fan of shooters nor free roaming games like RFoM or GTA. I'm more of an action and RPG gamer, but my preference in genre is just second priority. My priority in a game is the thrill and enjoyment value found in the plot/story in short, so long as the game plot is very good(of course gameplay should also be good) the genre doesn't really matter.. so any reccomendations?

I own both Resistance and GTAIV.... and I love them both.... but you ain't a fan, so I'm not sure if I can recommend any of the rest since I don't own them.

If you're living in U.S or Europe.... Resistance is currently selling for cheap.

I've heard good things about Uncharted, since it's an action/adventure type game, you may like it.

the price for resistance just dropped and u can pick up a brand new copy for 30 bucks. if u have 2nd controller grab a friend cuz its a pretty fun campaign, plus u can hone ur skills for the upcoming resistance 2, which is going to kick much oshiri lol

Resistance is a good shooter but if you not a fan of shooters i wouldnt buy it. If you can find a cheap copy i would pick up a game called folklore. Its a really interesting rpg adventure type game. Enchanted arms is standard jrpg fair with a slightly less than gripping storyline. Gta 4 isnt my thing and although ive heard reasonable things ive not played uncharted. Virtua fighter 5 is only good if you have friends round who also play it or you really like techy fighting games. all in all given your stated preferences i would recommend that you pick up uncharted from you list and folklore if you can find it.

Uncharted and MGS4 is the best reasons to own a ps3 at this point.

Thanks for those really good insights, I'll proably take out VF5 from my list as I'm not really good at highly techy fighting games. GTA4..I'll get this when it gets cheaper..

(these games sell here for ~40$ ranging from pre owned and brand new. unforunately I dont live in the US so games are usually around 5$ more expensive.)

And you should really try out Oblivion IV. I'm a J-Rpg player myself, but this game totally hooked me for a time despite it being an American RPG. D;

And Assasin's Creed is just fun~ You can play monkey, and kill people/guards. 😛 It has a plot, and it's not that hard to play too.

Definetely get Uncharted. The thrill factor is at maximum with that game. Constantly fun shit, and the action is incredible. Probably the best game on PS3 at the moment.
I also have Resistance, but it's far from perfect. It starts off fairly bad, and as you progress it gets tedious as fucking hell. Online's worth a laught but don't go expecting something as tactical as Call of Duty 4.
