This... So much this. Kenpachi surviving is fine, but Byakuya was fucking shredded and we got more last moments montage than you could shake a stick at. Fuck Kubo for losing his nerve.

@xdude101. I rather doubt Yamamoto will show up alive again. He was cut in half, diagonally and got sliced up some more afterwards. Hiyori surviving her bisection was highly bullshitty already, but Yamamoto would be in another tier altogether (but yes, you just may be right anyway. This is Bleach after all.) As for Ishida's grandpa, I'd say he was very much alive when he was captured and experimented upon. He perished after, not before.

Edit: I also predict that Yamamoto will be seen again. Ya know, like Hallibel. They seem to neuter people, then chain them up and force them to simply exist for their purposes. So many things are poorly explained. Here's another while I'm at it: If the Vandenreich is a place, like Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, where Quincies go after death, how did Mayuri get his experiment subjects, namely why didn't Ishida's grandfather go there?

@Baalzebup: Even if it's just his head, I feel like he needs to stay alive so that they can use his stolen Bankai. Juhabach stole it for a reason, and it doesn't seem logical for the zanpakutou to remain viable when the host is dead. But again, this is Bleach so anything's possible.
