So, SnoopyCool's been active again for about 4 months... lots of fun and all, but I have so much that I want to do and over our break, the group lost a lot of great staffers (of all kinds), plus with school going again, we've lost a few fulltimers to part time status. I've managed to find some editors internally, and some translators have fallen into my lap, but to be honest, I'm not used to being restricted by man-power... I don't need anyone to work on existing projects, but I need a translator (or 2 or 3) to work on new projects and one-shots and enough editors to keep them busy.

Anyway, a little about me and the group, we started in 2000 and did Flame of Recca (all 33 volumes... quite the learning experience for me), Psychic Academy (all), Hajime no Ippo (through like... volume 68 or 69 or something, then I got totally blown out on manga for about a year and here we are again, so no more Ippo), Midori, Fire Candy, and lots of others (just look us up for the full list). I pride myself in completing long projects with considerable attention to both speed and quality, and we all work hard to foster a kind of family dynamic for the group as a whole and don't mind taking inexperienced staffers that show a little spunk and a willingness to work hard.

So yeah. If you like the kind of stuff we've done in the past, and you're fluent in Japanese (I take furigana-only translators, too, as long as you're fine with learning more and willing to take criticism/tips), then do please drop me a line and we shall converse. (I don't really check here on the weekends so if you want an immediate response, it would be best to email (snoopykoo1@hotmail.com) me or drop by the SC forums and give me a PM)

Just to clarify, I'm looking for Japanese translators interested in either general shounen/seinen love stories or action/sports manga (something like Tenjou Tenge or Ippo), or just one-shots (I take 'em from all genres and I've got a never ending supply). I'll modify this when the editor positions come open.
