Hi, I'd like to request your help. (: After re-reading Cat Street, I was thinking about something that I find interesting in manga. The characters fall in love with only one person and stuck with that. Sometimes they do move on, but takes a lot of time... Cat Street is not like that, Keito fall in love with a guy, then dates another... Even though she kinda "stuck", she still does move on. There's also Maria from Mint na Bokura that falls in and out of love really fast and had several boyfriends if I remember well.

I think you already understood what I mean, right? I'm looking for mangas that there's a protagonist (or a VERY important supporting character) that have a lot of relationships as the time goes by. An example: there's a girl that is in love with a older guy, but then she meets a nice classmate and starts dating. They fall out of love, and she is a little sad, but keeps living. Then she meet someone new...

What I'm looking for:

  • A protagonist (or very important supporting character) that can keep going, instead of keep stuck in the past
  • A protagonist (or very important supporting character) that dates a lot of people as the time goes by, and that is not still in love with someone from many years ago.
  • Examples: Cat Street, Mint na Bokura.

That's nice, but it's not necessary:

  • Age progression. A manga that show multiple periods of the protagonist's life
  • Comedy. I'm ok with drama, but if the manga has a little of humor, that's way better for me.

I don't want:

  • I want people that do move on and have a lot of love experiences, but that's different from having a new lover everyday and being sexually promiscuous.
  • Characters stuck with one love forever Even if they date someone random once, they're still stuck with that love, so they do not fit in my request.
  • Examples: Love Hina (I love that, but [SPOILER] in the end all the girls were still in love with Keitaro and they didn't move on).

I like yaoi and yuri and I have no problems with smut, ecchi and hentai.
And yes, I did check Multiple Relationships category. I read a lot of the titles there and they do not fit my criteria (like Fruits Basket, Bukiyou na Silent, Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu), some of them do fit (like Mint na Bokura, so I thought it was ok to ask for help. 😀

Thanks in advance. (:

The first title that comes to my mind is Paradise Kiss. NANA by the same authoress may apply as well.
And perhaps, just perhaps, you could count Full Moon O Sagashite in too. Although it's for a younger audience, moving on is one of it's central themes and it adresses it very sensitively.

(btw i love your icon)

I can't remember the title, but maybe someone else can help out? The girl's father has always told her to have lots of love experiences. She goes through several boyfriends throughout the series, but with genuine feelings for each one. In the end, she gets together with

a guy who has always been near her. I think he was her stepbrother or something. He tutored her a bit too.

I don't recall it being a particularly long series. I know this isn't probably much help, but since it fits what you asked for so well, I thought I'd mention it.

The manga you're looking for is Random Walk 😎

Maybe Hirunaka no Ryuusei or Yajirobee? They are more sweet than anything.

Yogoreteru Hima Nanka Nai is more smutty, but the character isn't really looking to sleep around. She is looking for tru wuv.
