I have on several occasions tried to add doujinshi series to the database which have been rejected, not ones I have scanlated personally but ones which have been scanlated.

I know the policy for doujinshi is not to add them to the database unless they have been scanlated but what is the policy when a title has been scanlated and I want to add it to the database so I can keep my lists up to date, despite not doing it myself?

The policy is that doujinshi series entries will only be approved if they have been scanlated according to MangaUpdates, meaning there must be an existing release entry with the same title as the series entry
