Hey, My first post. I Love the site, and the My Lists is a grate tool
But there are somethings I'd add.
*An optional non default tiles preview in the list... sometimes I can't identify a manga just by the title...
If this can't be made because of the bandwith / extra hosting, add a comment chart, to make it easier to recognize a manga.
*Don't know if this alredy exists, but add the possibility of choosing between the Associated Names.
*Add custom rss feeds based on the user's public lists and the new releases.
*Think about in far future, adding international support for other languages funsub releases...

I would also not mind being able to choose an alternative title when adding a manga to a list. Because most of the primary titles are in Japanese, I often have to check what the English title is to remember what it's referring to. This is not a big issue for my reading list because I generally remember what I'm reading, but with my wish list, it would be more convenient to be able to pick and choose a new series to read without visiting all the profiles all over again.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean... You want to see associated names of series in the list of series in the "series info" section? It does display them in the list, sometimes. Seems to only do it in certain situations, I think... I really haven't totally figured that out yet. But anyway, if a series main title and its associated names are listed, the main title will be in italics, I think. I see this most commonly when I do a search for a title in the "series info" list, because that will search both the main titles and their associated names for a match.

You can choose any associated name (that is listed, of course) to represent a series on your list. Do this by going to the list to which you want to add the series, and enter the associated name you like in the "add series" box. The series will then appear under that name on your list.
Note that this series' main title or any of its associated names cannot be on your list already, otherwise the adding thingy will think you are trying to add something that already exists, and it will not let you add a duplicate entry. So, if you want to change the name of a series already on your list, you first have to delete it from the list, and then you can add the name you like.

Umm... I think OP was trying to say it'd be a good idea if preview pictures of the cover image was displayed in the Lists, whether it is going over with your mouse or just shown on the Lists?
I think this is a pretty good idea since I often forget what series are what, and this be incredibly useful for searching quickly through my Lists.

Ah, you mean like a gallery view--I want that too. ^_^
I suggested it over here: http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?page=5&tid=247, but I haven't heard any reply from the staff about it. They must be busy with other stuff. Maybe sometime in the future we'll have something like this, hopefully.

Well, there is an unfinished list, you know...
Only thing is, in the releases section, the unfinished icon (the blue circle) doesn't show up. Why? I have no idea. 😔
If you mean a "never going to read" list, it's been suggested at http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=10964 and kind of at http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=9733.
But yes, it would be nice to be able to filter out series that are on the unfinished list, especially if your unfinished list is pretty long.
And, by the way, it's "dropped," not "droped."

I wish there was a Favourite authors list. I just came back after a hiatus from manga and now I can't remember a single author's name anymore. Asking me to create some .doc/saved draft email is a bit useless since I've a habit of forgetting things like finding a lost document 3 to 4 years after I forgot about it. Or in the worst case, 10 years after I created it.
How hard can it be to have such a list? Oh well, in any case, I'll just switch to using RSS instead of MU for now, since I also want to keep track of author names. The only problem is that I'm not sure if linking a RSS service to many selective pages will crash the server. :/
Just another minor wish, btw:
Btw, I also wish that the Selection for Drop down lists would display at least 5 to 8 more characters 'cos when say... you've got "Fav shounen-ai/yaoi" and "Fav shoujo-ai/yuri" lists, the title of the lists tend to get cut off.
This is 'cos the drop down menu only display the first 8 characters like "Fav Shou [...]" and cuts off everything else. This makes it difficult to sort out the titles, no?
