Ok something big is about to unfold if this is true.
A hacker has hacked into the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit and leacked mails and date from the scientist who work there. The date leaked contains prof that they have change date redarding global warming. Here is a link and i would love for u to look for more on the web and write what u think about it and then spred the word.

Interesting that it was hacked just a couple of weeks before COP15, no?

If it's true, I'm going to have a LOT of fun in the next few weeks with my "I told you so's" and a few "Take that Al Gore*!"

I'm proud to say that I've never really bought the theory on global warming; if the planet is getting warming, I don't really think humanity is to blame. I've always thought it quite arrogant to think that we could change that much is the time frame usually brought forth. And I've been saying that for years.
...even so, I think I'll wait until everything sorted out before I start bringing this event into my global warming debates.

Keep in mind that it's not necessarily false. Data for certain areas has been falsified, but there are still measurable effects elsewhere. The polar ice caps are still disappearing, for example.
There are many trends to be considered, but the real controversy is that climate research has been so affected by the political atmosphere regarding global warming that the proper system of getting papers published in the field has been compromised. Because politicians are publicizing and perhaps misinterpreting the data that is produced in the meteorological scientific community, groups have taken to a kind of self censorship where certain ideas are being stifled to keep them from inflammatory sources. Most fields have falsified data in published papers, but scientific process allows for challenging of concepts over time. Politics has gotten involved, however.

I love how a couple of scientists faking data, apparently means global warming isn't real. Our increased carbon emissions have had a negative effect on our environment and nobody in their right mind can say any different.

I agree with zombie. This doesn't change the fact that global warming exists and is an issue.

Well after looking into it alot more it seems as lots of scientist agree global warming is real BUT there are alot who dosent belive in man made global warming and thats the whole point of Cop 15. There is a great vid on you tube with Lord Christopher Monckton a brilliant man witch you shoul all se.
To sum it up yes Global warming is Real BUT Man Made global Warming might not be. As i said spread the word since mainstrem media has not reportet on this at all ( I live in Denmark host of cop 15 climatgate hasn't been on the news at all)

It amazes me how many people can't believe that we can change/screw over the environment on a global scale. We've cut down forests, leveled mountains and wiped out entire species. We have enough nukes to wipe out the planet several times over but burning coal, oil, and gas will only heat our homes; not the world.
We know the earth is warming. We have ideas on how to slow, stop or even reverse it. The only people saying otherwise are people profiting off of fossil fuels and their political lap dogs. These are the same types of people who denied smoking causes cancer. They say my house ain't hot and polar bears aren't that cute anyway. Meanwhile, people who actually know what they are talking about are sidelined as weirdos, conspirators and jerks for saying something ain't right.
At first everyone said it didn't exist. Then, as it started catching on, that it needs more research. SUVs and oil will make people stick to the "we need to be sure first" argument until Antarctica sprouts grass. Even now you already see attempts to make the "it's too late to do anything about it anyway" argument catch on. It's better than saying we don't want to try to stop global warming because we're irresponsible bastards. "Climategate" is just more crap coming out of said bastards. 🙄

Especially since it was only one data set. Other data sets yield similar results, and there are quite a few. (And of different types.) I work with this type of stuff, so I know how broken the data and analysis can get, but man some bad science doesn't mean the whole field is cracked.
Well thinking about the matter I can understand why politicians dont get serious on the problem of global warming. Because the solution (and a quite immediate one, might I add) has been with us in the last 40-50 years.
Nuclear Fallout to literally freeze the world is so easy to produce nowadays, so why care about 2-3 celsius degrees? XD
Now I know they are wise. -_-

I haven't heard someone say that since the eighties. The saddest thing is that the likeliest place to be nuked in the U.S. is where I'm living. Is it any wonder NY is the unhappiest state in the union. 🤢
As for them being wise, only the old bastards are wise. They know they're dead in ten/twenty years so they better get to drinking and screwing instead of wasting time fixing the messes they leave behind anyway. The rest of us are just gamblers hoping we don't live to see the next great depression, world war or holocaust.

It's the holidays and I'm broke. Talking about whether humanity is screwing up the world ain't helping.
