Whether it's an actual condition (caused by trauma, result of upbringing, or something they're born with), or the MC think they're incapable of love but actually the problem lies in somewhere else. Not just unable to feel/nurture 'love' towards romantic interest, but the MC is unable to love anyone in general, including their own family, friends, etc. The plot has to revolve around this problem, directly or indirectly. Preferably not too long, maybe less than 10 vols unless it's really, really good. NO BL, everything else is a pass. Example I read recently is Taiyou ga Mite Iru (Kamo Shirenai Kara).
