Alive-the final evolution i'm not sure if many people read it or not, it's just not as well-known as it should be.
Hajimete no Aku maybe it's new,so not many people have read it.
Yanki-kun to Megane-chan ...it should be much more popular.
Zetman...it's awesome although recently it pissed me off abit.

i suggest a mod/admin changes the title of the thread to "most underrated manga" to be on par with the most overrated manga thread...i think this topic was recreated in different threads so many times since the title is not very informative...people searching for already-existed threads on underrated manga just use the keyword [underrated]
another underrated manga i wish more people and scanlators would pay attention to is darkwalker ...the art reminds me of kamikaze but the story is pretty unique (in my opinion)

Speaking of similar stuff, I thought Alive the Final Evolution was similar to Jojo's bizzare adventure, the third story (Stand User) arc.
Because of the use of how Comrades in Alive figure out who are other Comrades (In Jojo, they figure out who is a stand user) and not to mention the 1st story arc of Alive kind of mirrors the third story arc of Jojo.
In Alive, hollow-boy (I forgot his name), Manipulative old man, bubble bomber artist, crazy fire girl, scarface, reaper-otaku and other comrades who are trying to get Akuro's heart reminds me of Dio's Stand user group in Jojo. Except Dio is trying to get his body to work and sends his minions to stop Jotaro and his friends.

Dangu- The lame Dark Horse series description doesn't do it any justice.
Dogs: Bullets & Carnage- Most who read it love it (except trolls). It's just that not many people read it -_-.

Tokyopop license some good stuff and then takes ages to release it. It's no wonder their sales are going down the pan. They should license fewer series, and concentrate on marketing quality manga.
