I'm both. I love the advancements that have come from consoles, they're developed to play games so they better be god at it. 🤣
PC is really what I use for the independent community there are so many game out there that don't follow any trends and are very unique in the indie industry. Oh and visual novels too. 😉

I agree you need both to enjoy the cream of the crop of the gaming world, though I think since Xbox live and HDTV the PC is not as mighty as it used to be.

I'd pick my Apple computer over both the PC and the Console.
Not really much of a gamer these days (way to busy with software development on embedded hardware... Which is actually quite fun, if not for the fact that we must use WinCE (stupid requirements)).
But the games that I do play don't really require the latest hardware. (I play an occasional game of Stracraft/Diablo2/NWN/SW:Kotor, I think the 'heaviest' game would be HalfLife 2 and even that runs pretty smooth whilst emulated.).
While I understand the reason why the console came to be, I think that these days they are superfluous and overrated (and since I'm a control freak I'd like to be able to modify system files). But then again, as I said before... I'm not much of a gamer.
Computer. I have a wii.. Boring. Had a PS2.. More or less, boring. PS3.. Boring.
Getting a Xbox360 soon.
Computer is the only thing that really interests me.

I like both.
With PC, all the mods that come out for the games are very good, especially the Doom and Unreal Tournament/Championship ones.
With consoles because they don't crash nearly as much, and there are way more games that I like that come out more on consoles than PC.

PC... I'm more adept to the Keyboard and Mouse than a Gampepad...
Also, moving the mouse in 3D environments is much much easier... 🙂
Also, in some games, I can modify the package to my liking. Like in Counter Strike I can change the Background and Counter Strike Logo to something else.

Emulators. Modding your games. Need I say more?
It's not something that shall rot in your basement forever after you got bored of all the games on it. PC ftw.

Console fag here 🤣
My PC has no memory left for games 🙁
I have Age of Empires if that makes up for anything XD But yeah, i've played more console games than PC.
I'm sure if I had a hardcore PC though, I would seriously consider getting me some decent games. Shame mines so rubbish >:-(

That only really counts if you don't pay for your PC, because computers are definitely are more expensive.

No, because most people will own a computer either way (If you say otherwise, you're crazy). So the price paid should only factor in what's purchased above and beyond the normal model. And with the savings on game purchases ($10 cheaper new), online fees (What? PS3 has no online fees? Well, they also have a much smaller selection of online games, too. You get what you pay for...), extra controllers, and accessories, a computer isn't too bad. That's not even taking in to account downloadable content, one of the PC's major advantages. And most PC gamers assemble their own PCs, which also saves them money.

My PC cost me over three hundred dollars of my own money(though I had some parts left over from my last one), I made it myself. All the games I get cost around ten to sixty dollars.
My Xbox 360 cost me abut two hundred seventy dollars and that's with a sixty gigabyte hard drive and headset and a year worth of live. The console was used and my hard drive and headset I bought new. Games cost anywhere from ten to sixty dollars.
Pretty even.
