Newly Licensed Section?

With a flood of new manga coming into the market, its hard to keep up with all the titles. Perhaps a section similar to the releases section devoted to newly licensed series, would be helpful? I would appriciate it. 😃
You could just use the genre search function and choose the "Show only licensed manga" radio button.

True, though you'll get all licensed series instead of the newly licensed ones. Although this could be added to the "What's New!" section with its own tab for newly licensed series. It's sorted by "Date Added | Rating | Past 3 Months Activity" right now but not if it was licensed or not.
It's interesting enough of an idea, it certainly would help in looking up newly licensed series to purchase or to anticipate.
On that note, would the section then sort them by their release date or license acquisition date? Usually the series gets licensed but doesn't come out till a few months later, so would this section be focusing on reporting just which series has now been licensed? 😕

Once I find out a series has been licensed I tend to watch for news of that series every so often. So just knowing a series has been licensed is good enough for me

This would be cool, because I don't always hear about newly licensed series without having to check a multitude of other sites, and it seems to make sense for a manga site like MU to showcase this information.
It seems to me like this would work best/most easily as a sort of news feature, to list new licensing announcements (rather than an automatically updating list like on the what's new page). What about a news announcement once a month or at semi-regular intervals, listing newly licensed series? (in the same way as the other news posts, showing up on the main page and highlighted red for 24hrs or whatever) Would it be difficult to find someone willing to keep track of and submit all that information?

Good idea. =).
It'd promote people to buy the manga rather than reading it online.

If you click on the "Year" heading, when you use the "show only licensed series" option, it will sort the series by year, so you can see which 2008 series have been licensed, 2007, etc... right now we don't keep track of the date when the companies license the series
