Bleh. Make up.
I'd rather have girl that looks good without make-up...
then one that does...
Cause with make up, I can fall asleep next Jessica Alba,
and wake up next to a monkey. no

hmm well i'm a guy so i don't really know just how much of a pain in the ass or not make-up is to put on...no seriously i don't...but i reckon that it's overrated, i mean personally i'd be fine if my gf, for example, didn't feel she had to wear make-up everytime we went out. i prefer it when she's herself and comfortable, that's not to say that on certain occasions - if we needed to dress-up, eg for a special occasion, i think she shouldn't put any on necessarily, but i'd like to know that when i look at her i'm looking at her the way she always is and not just the way she appears on some days. Girls and women shouldn't feel they need to change anything about themselves to look any better imo eyes

Well, I don't think it's very fair of you guys to push all the blame on us girls. I mean, if girls didn't always feel judged mostly based on their looks, I don't think they'd feel the need to wear so much make up.

As I said, I mostly wear lip gloss, so I'm not one of those super cool chicks with tons of make up on, but, well, you have to admit that make-up does cover up imperfections, and... honestly, if you had to hit on a girl, wouldn't you choose the prettiest one? So, obviously, girls feel the need to be better, to wear better clothes and wear make up. No?

I like make up. I use it, but I think there's, you know, a time and place for everything. About a year ago, I studied cosmetics and my teacher was a blast. Here are DA RULZ, according to her:
1) Make up is not required to fetch the newspaper
2) Spend an extra half an hour in bed instead of in front of the mirror if you're busy getting yourself an education (that is, just the basics are required)
3) Spend some extra time in front of the mirror if you've somewhere important to go. Be tasteful. Make an effort. People will notice and appreciate the fact that you look extra spiffing. Here, excessiveness is not recommended.
4) Too much make up is alright, I guess, in the dark of a night club. But it's never ok to put on enough make up to completely fool a potential partner. Unless it's a one-night-stand and you're absolutely certain he/she won't see your face the morning after. Then it's ok.
5) Too much foundation is NEVER ok. Especially if you're about to get cosy with your boyfriend/girlfriend.
6) Spider legs (caused by excessive use of mascara) is also a big NO-NO.
7) If you know that you are a make up addict who easily goes overboard if left unchecked, make sure to ask the opinion of the most honest person you know. Repeat every month.

These rules are not mine (although I do follow them), so don't kill the messenger... There were more rules, but I figured we'd be here all night if I continued...

Dude...you're not gonna find that anywhere except for in grade schoolers. But I'm guessing you're not a pedo. Everyone I know looks terrible without all that make up and hair job done. Because everyone girl looks terrible first thing in the morning, so you better get used to ugly chicks with thick make up. embarrassed

I Am Fugly and i really couldn't care less.

But, to each their own, i cant complain, seeing as how i guess i can understand...

But still...I've known a few people that looked better without make-up, than with it.

So it depends on the person, or the style, greatly.

The more natural looking the better. Most of the girls I went to high school with had little or no make-up on, and they were still kinda cute. (they had other faults instead though..) And once they had minor makeup on them they looked great. Becasue they didn't overexaggurate.

I really don't see why anyone would go for those with thick make-up on them. Not to mention that high schoolers these days seems to think they need to have lots of make-up on them, and they fail miserably on applying it dead (I see lots and lots of "spider legged" eyes.. And they seem to think it's supposed to be like that Oo)

I don't like make up. So I don't wear it.
I'm proud to say that my face looks fine without it laugh
I had really red lips once, but not as much now though... In my loli days... *sigh*

Wowzers... You guys have low standards. I'm postive there's a girl that looks good without makeup, because the girls i mess with are living proof. Sure they aren't hottest things in the mourning, but they still look damn good.

Of course, they ARE the hottest things once they clean themselves up. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Either you have really high standards, or you need to meet more women. I've met plenty of people who look great with little or no makeup. Being a cake face shouldn't start till your like 50.

Personally, I'm too lazy to wear make-up. That's an extra 10 minutes (at least) in the morning and probably another 10 at night (since no matter what I use, it takes forever to come off). And trust me, I used to be a daily user, so I do know how much of a pain it is. I'll wear it for special occasions, but just don't have the patience for every-day use (or even once a week use...)
