All last year I was hearing rumours that this great series was finally going to be restarted again, but it hasn't 🙁

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything new about when Legal Drug is coming off hiatus? There is so much left to know and I'm impatient to find out!!!!

Parhaps CLAMP is thinking of tieing it to another manga just like with Tsubasa and xxxHolic.

ahh thats a shame...i really want to read the next volume xD

Well it's been about two years since this topic was made... and it's still not off hiatus. so... when did it go on hiatus?

I heard somewhere that the hiatus is due to some kind of disagreement between CLAMP and the publisher, Asuka. I think it's somehow also linked to the reason why X is on indefinite hiatus. Asuka apparently holds all legal rights to both X and Legal Drug, and therefore CLAMP can't continue publication in another magazine.
So, unless the legal issues are cleared up, I doubt this manga (or the other one) will ever be continued 🙁 And with the recent success of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and xxxHolic, CLAMP is probably not giving these old projects its full attention.
