Yeah i didn't mean ghana didn't have skill. I was just talking about the holes in the usa defense. They shouldn't have had the CHANCE you know, ghana played amazingly but USA defense made some elementry mistakes. They gave them an inch and they took the hole yard.

That's true, cause I was frustrated at how Ghana was reaching USA's side of the field so frequently and so easily...

Well since America's out, does anybody know of any teams I should root for? I usually root for the underdogs, so I know that takes Brazil, Germany, and Argentina out of the equation...

Well, I think Japan and Uruguay have some good chances of making it kind of far. (..Sucks for Japan though lol if they beat Paraguay they have to play either Spain or Portugal.)

I'm all for my country, but it was no surprise that the USA go home. They couldn't keep the ball, their midfield was miserable --> no opportunity created to attack, our players do not have the skill to finish, and we aren't as fast, skilled, and technical as Ghana. Not to mention #17 missed some golden opportunity. The two goals that Ghana scored were in the same situation. We could say the US made the same mistake twice: early in the first half and early in the first extra time. If the US won, they would have met Uruguay, and I think they will fry the US alive with their beautiful goal. Just look at the goal they scored today against S.Korea!

Germany vs. England tomorrow will be an early final, but I always go for Germany. So my bet is on Germany! 😎

Germany gave better performance in the 1st half, but I already see bunch of people complaining (with every right) about that 2nd goal. What a grave mistake by the refs.

I'm appalled at that decision by the linesman. Everyone saw it go in but the refs. How convenient. Billion pound industry, no goal line technology. It's disgusting. It just an insult to the sport and makes it look stupid. We need replay technology of some sort. These refs are destroying the games because they're human and can't be expected to make the right decisions all the time.

Other than that, for most of the first half, England played pretty rubbish 🤣 Terrible defending.

gremany played wayyy better than england though clearly that goal by england should have been given. Damn karma is a bitch, i guess england got their dues for that happened in 1966...the exact same kinda thing happened which resulted in german'y downfall. Lets see what will happen now. @tactics---they should have more assistants to help out. Replays are not an option really because it slows down the game, the amount of time taken to show the replay and for referess to make a decision would definetly slow down the game. Then also if it is given for that kind of scenario, players will be asking for replays on other kind of stuff as well so I don't think replays are a good option.

Germany played some wonderful passes and made 2 deserved goals. it's unfortunate for england that goal wasn't seen by the refs, but germany had bad referee luck in the game against serbia when klose had to go, so i guess it's kinda restoring the balance of luck and unluck.

I am aware of the fact that it slows the game down, and I'm not saying for there to be a big TV on the pitch, and everyone stands there and wait for the clip to be shown because that is just stupid.
Goal line technology however, should be implemented somehow. Have you heard about the goal at Spurs should have scored against Man U a couple of years ago and wasn't awared because neither the linesman or the ref didn't see it go in?
