The 13th and final volume of Hidetaka Kakei's Tona-Gura! romantic comedy manga shipped in Japan on Thursday. The manga ran in Jive's Comic Rush magazine, which switched from print to digital format in March. The manga had been running in Comic Rush since January 2004, and it continued in the magazine's online form until the August 2011 "issue."

I was wondering if you knew how different are the anime and manga? Anyone?
Additionally, does the anime end at a certain place in the manga? Thanks?!

The anime was mostly the same up until the final episode, which features an original story. I forgot which chapter the anime adaptation stops at other than it was probably around chapter 16, since it was so long ago. But you can think of the final episode as filler and go from anime to book without any confusion.
Now that the series is finally completed, I guess I should start catching up. I'm only at vol 10. =p
