I don't remember the author, artist, or scanlator, but this is the basic plot that I remember

There's a kid that's kind of fat, and his classmates tease and make fun of him for it, but he's alright with it (kind of). But then on the day of his graduation, he confesses to a guy in his class that he likes him, and asks for one of the buttons from his coat (I think that was supposed to mean something or other). But then the guy goes "Wtf? No way, fatty." The kid gets really self conscious about his appearance, and after graduation he loses a lot of weight. At his school reunion, they meet again and suddenly the guy that he confessed to is really nice and wants to get together with him, and when he realizes the kid (now grown up) is wary of him, he regrets not accepting his confession all those years ago... and something like that.

Oh wow, that sounds familiar. I looked through my one-shots list and didn't see it, so it might be a story in a volume of one-shots. Let me look through those and see if I find it.

It was not a oneshot, by the way. It's a three-chapter story in a collection of oneshots, which is why I'm sure Liria couldn't find it.
