In the most recent brand of news, Funimation is now "collaborating" with Japanese studios to make anime "more worldly and appealing" and will be helping to give more money to the creators by having Funimation acting as the middleman in all sales and business matters rather than having the fans import everything directly from Japan. No, seriously, that's what their statement literally says:

Quote from Funimaton

This means that subscriptions to Funimation and purchases of home video releases, digital downloads, and merchandise supervised by Funimation will help creators in Japan more directly than having a finished title licensed as-is would.

In reference to some of the issues mentioned in the previous topic, the online forum Resetera was just exposed for being a cabal for professional translators, journalists, community managers, game developers, professional writers, and corporate executives.

EDIT: In other news, Patreon and Australia ...

Oh boy this Resetera article sound like an incel wet dream... looking at the others articles the whole site seems laughable 🤣 🤣

incel

What does that word even mean? Going by what I know, it's definition is in reference to the ugly bastard, it's usage indicates "Person I don't like", and is presented as the new "cool" way to call someone a virgin. So, what is it?
