The manga is about a plain girl who is just genuinely a really nice person and is friends with a really pretty girl who is often the center of attention. She ends up assuming this popular and good-looking guy is only talking to her because he wants to get with the pretty girl but actually ends up liking the plain girl. If I remember correctly, I believe each of the chapters are also in the perspectives of the different characters (eg. chapter 1 written from plain girl's view, ch. 2 from the guy)
